Enjoy Today! ~ Saints and Scripture Sunday

Psalm 118:24

This is the day which the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

“This has been such a long day.” “I’ll be glad when this week is over.” I say those things all the time, and then when I’m on vacation I’m totally the opposite, trying to stretch each day out as long as possible, cram in as much fun as I can before I have to go back to my usual routine. I’m going to try harder to appreciate each day for what it is, not wish it gone or hang on to it desperately – just live it and enjoy it. Don’t roll your eyes at me! I really am going to TRY! Drop by The Kennedy Adventures every Sunday and share a favorite Saint or Scripture verse.

  1. Thanks! I have rejoiced so much in this day I almost forgot to tell you how much I enjoyed your post, or to link to Saints and Scriptures. What a glorious day.

Jack and Winnie look so cute. Winnie is "almost" as cute as Annie and Mazzy.

  2. Hey, thanks for visiting my blog and commenting. Guess we have alot in common since I'd rather blog than see patients these days too! I enjoyed reading your posts, especially the letter to your boss 😉

  3. I do the same thing. I think I need to add some fun in on my workdays so I enjoy those days more. Now with warmer weather at least I'll be able to walk more outside at lunch time and on breaks.

  5. So true! I've always felt so bad for Mondays – because people always complain about them, when reall they are the beginning of a new adventure! Each day has potential for gloriousness! I hope your day is:)
