The morning that I opened the email from Tiffany and found out I was going to be a Featured Blogger I did three things: I sent a nearly-incoherent email to the bloggers I am also very close to in real life, I emailed Sharon at Good, True, and Beautiful, who was hip-deep in switching me over to WordPress and completely redesigning my blog at the same time, and then I emailed my friend Dianna again to give her my sign-ons and ask her to be my Blog Surrogate. If I was hit by a bus before my SITS Day I wanted to make sure everything went smoothly. That’s reasonable behavior, right?
Well here I am, thanks to Sharon working night and day to get my blog in tip-top shape for the event and Dianna and my husband talking me down out of my tree numerous times. I’m looking forward to reading comments and making new friends today! Find out why I’ll never be Mom of the Year, compare notes on the dreaded carpool line, and discover what’s going to be your favorite new pizza recipe. Then check out my About Me page so you’ll recognize me if you see me in Kroger or Target.
I am so thrilled to be the SITS Featured Blogger today, because it was the support I found through the SITS community (on their website, on Twitter, Facebook and Blogfrog, and at the uber-fabulous Bloggy Boot Camp) that helped my blog evolve from a place called Ballard Boys where I shared pictures of my kids and stories about what we’d been doing with family and friends to The Jammie Girl, my creative outlet and lifeline to my network of bloggy friends around the world. Thanks, ladies!!
