My Ten Most Recently Viewed Movies on Netflix

by Angie on April 17, 2012

Top Ten Tuesday at Many Little Blessings
Our Netflix account is under my name, and any DVDs rented come to my house, but the streaming, well that’s another story. My son streams through his X-Box 360 at college. He has three roommates. So when I go to Netflix because I want to watch The Tourist (again) or Young Frankenstein (again) I’m usually quite surprised by what shows up as “Angie’s” recently viewed movies. Let’s just say I hope prospective employers don’t check my Netflix account.

1.) Dirty Sexy Money (I think the title probably says it all)

2.) South Park (OK, this was probably my 13-year-old, and he knows I hate this show)

3.) A NormL Life (Apparently about medical marijuana)

4.) Being Elmo (I have no explanation for this one. Maybe it seemed like a good choice after #3?)

5.) Kiss of the Dragon (Martial Arts movie)

6.) The Union: The Business Behind Getting High (Is there something coming up on the ballot in Kentucky about legalizing marijuana? If so, I haven’t heard about it.)

7.) Live Nude Comedy (I don’t even want to know)

8.) Downton Abbey (That’s mine)

9.) Naked Ambition: An R-rated look at an X-rated Industry (Perhaps someone hasn’t decided on a major and is waffling between screenwriting and agriculture?)

10.) Family Guy (My 13-year-old again. Or maybe my husband – he thinks it’s funny, too. *sigh*)

Priced at just $4.99, it is now available in every format your little heart could desire at Smashwords, or, if you prefer, it’s also for sale in a Kindle version at Amazon or a Nook version at Barnes and Noble!

You’ve got the pot and nekkid comedy; I’ve got the dumb children’s shows. I had to laugh at the Downton Abbey. “That’s mine.” Same here. It’s the only adult title surrounded by Disney series that my 11-year-old watches (Zach and Cody, Wizards of Waverly, etc.) and weird cartoon series that I’ve never heard of (something that’s kind of like SpongeBob but just different enough not to get sued for copyright infringement, I guess.)

This is kind of hilarious. I wonder if college boy realizes that you see all of the movies he is streaming.

I LOLd because we have the same issue at our house. The Netflix streaming gets used on the tv, my husband’s computer, my daughter’s computer, and her iPad. “My” top picks are full of A-Team, a lot of random anime, “My Little Pony- Friendship is Magic,” and Family Guy.

Hey, even I enjoyed South Park when my kids watched it. Also Beavis and Butthead.
