Ecclesiastes 3: 1
To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to reap that which is planted.
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to to mourn, and a time to dance.
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing.
A time to get and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
It’s time to play at our house. Just a couple of weeks ago it was time to study, time to work hard, time to finish up Elementary School for our youngest, and time to graduate from High School for our eldest. Now that summer’s here we all just want to play. Yes, Michael and I are still working full time, Aaron is working more hours at his part time job, and John’s in Shakespeare Camp all day, but there’s a spirit of fun in the air when we get home that encourages silliness. The favored silliness right now is THE Ewok
. Some days he’s been found, hidden, found again, and hidden again all before the last person goes to bed for the night. Here are a few of his hiding places:
in a hurricane on the mantel
In the chandelier
on the X-Box
He’s also turned up in a pot of chives and on a blade of the ceiling fan. And I hear there are plans for further adventures for THE Ewok. I hope he’s ready for it!
Drop by Saints and Scripture Sunday at The Kennedy Adventures every week and join the fun!
