Fabulous Feast with Links

I’ve found it nearly impossible to multi-task lately, which is making my life difficult on many levels.  Since I haven’t figured out a way yet to get around this for the big issues (like, um . . . work) I thought I’d try to improvise with some of the smaller issues, like cooking.  I’d found several new recipes online I wanted to try, but I knew I couldn’t prepare them all at the same time like I normally would (at least without burning the house down), so I started prepping early in the day and recruited help.  It ended up being an absolutely delicious meal, and completely stress-free.

The Cilantro Steak is from Beverly’s Back Porch, my go-to food blog.  Once I told the guys it was a “Beverly recipe” they didn’t hesitate to eat steak with something green on top of it – and they loved it.  The Beer Soaked Fries and the Best Ever Broccoli recipes are both Pinterest finds. Seriously, I don’t think I will ever make fries or broccoli any other way ever again.  The Peanut Butter Ice Cream is from Food.com and there’s no picture of it because I was too busy eating.

I’m linking this post up to Get Wired Wednesday and the Grocery Cart Challenge Recipe Swap.

  1. Why am I suddenly starving at 3:00 a.m.? Question: all that garlic didn’t leave you with garlic reeking from your eyes? Otherwise, these look wonderful. LT

  2. These yummies look so good! I love finding new recipes and am finding Pinterest addicting. Thanks for the awesome info and food porn!

  3. I thought I’d comment before I get sucked into the pinterest time warp. 🙂
Those all look amazing, but I am most looking forward to trying the steak. Cilantro sauce? Yes please!
