My Favorite Frugal AND Creative Pins (This Week)

Here are some of my favorite frugal and creative pins. ย Because frugal is nice and everything, but frugal AND creative? ย Well, that’s like chocolate and peanut butter as far as I’m concerned!

How cute is this for when your little boy rips the knee out of his jeans again?

Raised beds made with pallets. I’ve developed an obsession with things made with pallets – now I just need to find someone with plenty to they want to give away or sell cheap!

Hanging clothes out to dry is my favorite frugal tip, and this clothesline makes it super-easy.

    1. They actually have a pile of them at the pool table / hot tub / playground equipment store at the end of my street, I just need to talk some big strong men (like the ones I married and gave birth to) into making sure it’s OK and loading them up ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. I am so addicted to Pinterest at the moment. I even forced myself to open a twitter account just so I could join Pinterest and start my own boards!

BTW I love the pallet beds idea. That would work really, really well for me. We have 3 garden areas that were started by previous owners of our house, who obviously put everything in years ago before all the birch trees had grown so high. Next summer, I’m going to do some major re-organization to get our gardens out of the shade and into the sun!

    1. Well you’d better tell me how to find you on both Twitter and Pinterest ’cause you know I want to follow you!! I’m @angieballard on Twitter and I can’t remember if I’m Angie Ballard or The Jammie Girl or Pinterest, but you’ll recognize me because of my dorky pins ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. I’m sure I wouldn’t have been able to sneak this past on the uniform pants my son wore at parochial school, but I would say if jeans are allowed they would have to allow this just as if it were jeans with a decorative patch. Can’t hurt to try – all you’re risking is a pair of torn jeans ๐Ÿ™‚
