Filled to the Measure ~ Saints and Scripture Sunday

So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. ~ Ephesians 3:17-19

Yesterday we had our final family Christmas gathering of the year, and it was wonderful.  Today I’ll be taking down all the Christmas decorations, but I won’t be thinking “Thank God it’s all over!”  like I have some years.  I’ll be smiling, remembering all the fun we’ve had, the laughs we’ve shared with our friends and family.  Today I do feel “filled to the measure”, and I’m looking forward to the year ahead.

  1. Thank you for that scripture this morning. I am really struggling with the reality of my hubby going to war…..again. It’s not easy…and sometimes I’m mad at God. BUt I know- and sometimes need reminded- that he loves me and my boys…beyond anything that I can comprehend. Have a great day!! And thanx!
