“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” ~Romans 15:13

As I write this I am feeling hopeful.  Usually I just pretend to be hopeful and prepare for the worst.  But somehow I’m feeling able to make plans more than a day in advance, I’m going to try traveling further than I’ve traveled since before my third surgery (not driving, though) and I’ve invited strangers into my home in April for a book club meeting.  I just joined and have only been to one meeting, and it was in a beautiful home.  This pigsty is going to need some serious work before the big day arrives.  And some dog training – EEK!

I’m writing again, after a short but scary dry spell, and my car will be fixed early this week so I can put all memories of the wreck behind me (until they raise my insurance rates).  Maybe it’s that the weather’s a little warmer, a little sunnier.  Maybe it’s the shoots of spring bulbs that are poking through the ground.  Whatever it is, I’m just going to be thankful and rejoice in it!

  1. Isn’t it amazing how much a little bit of clear skies and sunshine can brighten our spirits? I was in a serious funk during Suckuary (did you read that on Jen’s post?)

I’m so glad that March is here.

Can’t wait to have some fun girl time with you, Colleen and the babies!
