Welcome to “Share the Love”, where I’m rounding up some artists and craftspeople who sell their wares directly to their customers. With the economy what it is I want to spend my money with individuals and small businesses whenever possible and I thought perhaps you, my readers, would be looking for ways to support the little guy as we start thinking about Christmas presents. None of these posts are sponsored, I’ve just invited these folks to show you their fabulous products and tell you how you can buy them.
Meet Kerri: She is a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom to her 6-year-old son, Jacob. She started to make jewelry to raise awareness for Myasthenia Gravis, a disease she has had for over 17 years. She makes all kinds of jewelry besides the MG jewelry: bracelets, earrings, necklaces, key fobs, bookmarks, and special orders. Ten percent of everything she makes goes to patients with MG.
Here are just a few of her many beautiful creations:
Rhinestone dragonfly earrings ($5.00)
Pandora-style pendant on leather ($18.00)
She also has a lot of sets (bracelet-earring, necklace-earring). One of my favorite necklaces is from Kerri’s collection – she does beautiful work in a wide range of styles. Drop by and check a few gifts off your Christmas list! Or if you’re like me maybe you’ll order a little something for yourself while you’re shopping for everyone else 😉
