A year and a half is a long time from now. My friend Dianna, who’s barely showing, will have her youngest walking around by that time! But it’s not a very long time when there’s a significant amount of weight one wants to lose so that when someone from the bride’s family asks, “Who’s the mother of the groom?” the correct answer will not be “the chubby one”. That’s where Slim-Fast comes in.
They have new products out, both shakes and bars, that are a huge improvement over the Slim-Fast you may have tried before. I decided to start with a shake:
I chose the new Cappuccino Delight flavor (they also have Creamy Milk Chocolate, French Vanilla, Rich Chocolate Royale, and Strawberries N’ Cream) and it was delicious. And with 10 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber it really did keep me feeling full for four hours!
Slim-Fast’s new 3-2-1 Plan is simple, and is printed on the side of every bottle:
- 3 nourishing snacks a day (fruit, veggies, or a Slim-Fast 100 calorie snack bar)
- 2 Slim-Fast 180-200 calories shakes or meal bars
- 1 balanced 500 calorie meal
There was a full selection of the new products at my local Kroger, but they are also available at Walmart, Target, Safeway, Slimfast 3-2-1 Store on Facebook. And by the way, if you “like” Slim-Fast on Facebook you may just find a valuable coupon – I sure did! So make your“Slim-Fast Vow to Wow” and you could win lots of fabulous prizes while you’re getting the body you’ve always wanted 🙂
Even if you don’t have a big event coming up that’s motivating you to lose some weight the Slim-Fast 3-2-1 plan would be a great way to prevent adding unwanted pounds during the holidays. A filling shake or snack bar before a holiday party makes “grazing” less tempting. And did I mention their new bottles? Yes, bottles, not cans, so there’s no metallic taste. And the hourglass shape of the bottle reminds me of the goal I’m working towards (fabulous marketing idea, folks!)
UPDATE: My husband just tried one of the Rich Chocolate Royale shakes (at room temperature – I hadn’t had time to put those in the fridge yet) and deemed it “pretty tasty”. Hmm, maybe the father of the groom won’t be “the chubby one”, either 😉
